Favicons are displayed in most major graphical browsers.
A favicon (short for favorites icon), also known as a website icon, shortcut icon, url icon, or bookmark icon is a 16x16 pixel square icon associated with a particular website or webpage.[1] A web designer can create such an icon and install it into a website (or webpage) by several means, and most graphical web browsers will then make use of it. Browsers that provide favicon support typically display a page's favicon in the browser's address bar and next to the page's name in a list of bookmarks.
Browsers that support a tabbed document interface typically show a page's favicon next to the page's title on the tab.

Sharon was referred to me by a ReachLocal representative that I know and trust. Sharon was very cordial, thorough, and detailed in creating a website for us. She went above and beyond what I requested.
I am computer illiterate by choice, so I wanted a simple website with the basics, including who we are and how to reach us. Sharon not only complied but, with the minimal information we gave her, she was very creative and did a lot of research to come up with some basic and relevant information for the site. Our focus is roofing, siding, tuckpointing, guttering, and skylights. Sharon educated herself about the business, and you could tell that she spent time on it, which was very impressive.
I was hoping for a good product and was very pleased with the way our website turned out. The details that Sharon provided, the little extras like a Mission Statement, were a nice touch. I tell my own employees to do extra things like that that really make a difference.
